Apple Uses Voysis for a leg up on the competition

Apple is currently falling behind in the digital assistant marketplace. Once the frontrunner with the creation of Siri, other companies followed with Google’s creation of their home assistant, Amazon’s Alexa and Samsung’s Bixby. Over time Google’s home assistant has stood out over all over voice assistants due to its unique ability to follow natural language.  While all digital assistants can accept commands Google’s home assistant does the best at interpreting meaning from natural speech. With Apple’s acquisition of Voysis, this could quickly change. Voysis integration of AI into the shopping marketplace has allowed for their AI to be the most useful in the online marketplace. For example, users are able to tell the digital assistant what item they’re interested in and a budget for that item.
