As we all know too well, healthcare costs have been a hot topic for conversation in the past years. Costs have skyrocketed, and multiple solutions have been offered but not all can seem to find grounds to agree on the controversial plans. Artificial intelligence can be used to help prevent and correct claims before they are filed and cause cost-related issues by using algorithms to detect the discrepancies before they are sent to the customer. Many people within the general population can be eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid, and may not even be aware of this – with the use of AI, it can alert these people that they are eligible for the dual-enrollment of the programs and enroll them in both. AI in the healthcare industry can help to cut down on time and costly steps in processes with insurance and claims, leading to saving money in the long run, and on a very large scale.
