Fiber to the home infrastructure has already been proven to be exceptionally fast. A recent bill introduced in California could help jump start and revitalize projects to expand this fiber network. It would enable many more homeowners to access high speed internet compared to their traditional legacy connections. This would be beneficial to everyone regardless of their profession or situation. Internet access is now a necessity. The bill also mentions the planning of upgrades for wireless cellular networks as well. This would benefit anyone with a cell phone as well. They would eventually be able to utilize faster connections such as 5G.
