Technology and Industry leaders have come together to start a non-profit initiative to create respirator type masks. These 3D printed makes cost approximately 2-3 dollars per unit of materials and are being distributed to the public and health care professionals at no cost. Maker Mask is also the only 3D printed mask that is reviewed and endorsed by medical professionals. Because the mask is reusable and has components are that able to be cleaned and replaced, the Maker Mask is equivalent to 300 disposable masks over a two month period.
