This bill will allow the government to demand social media platforms to reveal user identities without a warrant. This has been proposed by India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology who is expected to publish it later this month. The controversial bill was proposed by the government in December of 2018 and has since received a lot of backlash from the public.
